Hey everyone, how is everyone keeping up with their creative goals as we approach the end of January? Have you started the year off on a good note creatively? I want to hear about your successes in 2024 so far!
Mary Helen Norris they're going great. I am putting the finishing touches on my 42nd "Sojourn" book, and am in the process of working on two new feature scripts. Good for you!
Congratulations on the progress, Steven Gamella! My goal for 2024 is to sell 1 or 2 feature scripts. I'm networking, so I'm getting closer to reaching that goal. My other goal is to read more scripts and books. I've been reading more scripts.
Mapped out my writing for 2024: horror screenplays (feature and short), short stories, revisions to two novels, a new SciFi novella…and finally have narrowed down which short horror script I want to shoot this year. I also have a goal of selling a self contained female led feature length, horror screenplay. Gonna be a busy but exciting 2024.
Absolutely! Thank you for checking back in with everyone, Steven Gamella! Two of my goals for this year were to read 12 books and to start writing again. So far, I've already read 3 books in the last couple of weeks and I spent a few hours this past weekend worldbuilding a story idea. It feels like a great start to the year, we all just have to keep going!
I revised one of my scripts ready to enter into a few competitions, and as of today, OFFICIALLY, I finished another script I had already started writing. That was my plan for the month of JANUARY..... It feels GREAT.

Working on a rewrite of my novella. Might manage to finish this draft by the end of January but still happy with my work so far. How are your goals?
