Coffee & Content: The Machinery of the Business

Stage 32’s founder and CEO, Richard “RB” Botto, shares two videos in today’s blog.

In the first video, It Was A Sh*t Show shares an in-depth video essay about the making of The Game of Thrones pilot.

In the second video, RB talks about the importance of screenwriters having a producer’s mind in this industry. Having a producer’s mind can help directors, actors, etc. get a leg up in this industry too.

Glad to hear that, Gregory Barone!

Totally agree with the Producers mind. I have learnt to leave my 'writer' at home when talking to Producers. Writers and Directors are an easy fit. I actually feel the industry would be better served, if Writers pitched to Directors and Directors (possibly with Writers) pitched to Producers. This is a natural progression of the transition from each energy/role and would make communication and the whole process easier.
