Indie Filmmaking: How To Wrap A Win

Hey Producers,

That's a great blog. Very cool filmmaker with a unique POV and some good camera tricks, too. I might have to borrow that tripod leg in the pants trick. Nifty!! Also interesting to see how a film you make might end up at a place you didn't really expect, or be received in a way that you hadn't foreseen. And like Joshua V.H., the filmmaker, I used to also work the night shift (at a Post House), exactly for the same reason -- to be able to have the days free to be creative. (That only works when you're single!)

Ashley Renee Smith, thank you so much for sharing this interview of mine! I'm honoured!

DT Houston, Nice to meet a fellow night shifter. You're free to borrow my guerrilla filmmaking techniques ;) Thank you for your words!

Hey, Joshua Van ’t Hoff, what are you working on in 2024? Nice to meet you, too...

Joshua Van ’t Hoff

DT Houston, I'm having an action/comedy short film in post-production and it's fun to work on it! What about you?

DT Houston

That's cool, Joshua Van ’t Hoff I love action/comedy! I write in that lane quite a bit. I'm currently busy with a pair of feature drama projects. Jeff Buckley is a music biopic of the iconic 90s singer. Just started going out to talent with it. The other one is about a depressed novelist who returns home to live with his parents. When his 61 year old mother becomes pregnant, the son suddenly finds himself growing to a height of 20 feet tall. It has a super catchy title - lol! The Importance Of Proper Lawn Maintenance.
