Someone, and I don't know who nor do I care to know him, has just spent $6.2M, at a New York auction, for a piece of artwork (Term used loosely) of an actual banana (perishable) taped to a wall by duct tape. Meanwhile I have film proposal for a $1.5M action film that won't spoil in a couple of weeks. I'm sure many of you have similar proposals for your film projects that are just as viable than taped produce. UNBELIEVABLE!
I know I'll be sick for a couple of days.

$6.2M worth of attention... probably a good deal!

I remember the first time I saw a broken toilet sitting under lights behind some ropes at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. But I guess that is the point. I remember. And we are talking about this banana to Rebecca James's point. Art is where you find you.
Dan MaxXx Can't argue with you there, Dan, but my stuff is more enjoyable.... in the long run.

As you know, we don't work for money, although we do receive money for the work we do.

Someone needs to tape that persons wallet/purse shut so they don't blow that kind of cash again for something like that.

Willem Elzenga Someone suggested to me that it was a money laundering scheme which I can believe more than it being an art piece.
