I love how Dan describes the script he fell in love with about the horror/occult side that was written and made him feel "off" the whole script until the end.

Thanks for posting this, Julie! :) I had signed up for this webinar but missed it due to an unexpected schedule change. Anyway, I have yet to see it and your post reminded me to do so. Looking forward to it! :)

That was really cool! A great description of thriller vs action, and it was good to get an insight into the hiring practice and make-up for writers in a writer's room. The percentage of A story, B story, C story was helpful too. Full of great info. I think I'll watch it again!

So, I'm reading the script for the pilot of Hannibal (THANK-YOU for turning us onto this, Dan) it's here: http://livingdeadguy.com/shows/hannibal/ and it really seems to read like a shooting script. I'm wondering if the original spec script read like this? Do I have to have things like 'SMASH CUT' and camera angles 'ON JACK'S BACK' and such?

Great interview! Very informative.

Pablo Ponce de Leon
