Inktip.com

Has anyone ever had any success with inktip.com? My 6 month listing is just about expired and I've only had 2 people actually look at it. I've rewritten it several times thinking it wasn't good enough but I still haven't gotten any bites. Anyone have a similar experience?

Dave McCrea

yes I had a similar experience, but mine was a golf drama set in Ireland so that might have had something to do with it. Think I had 4 viewers. I believe if you have a low-budget horror or thriller, you would get several more reads. Now, about 7 years ago, me and a writing partner had a script on there that was a music industry drugs drama thing and we got TONS of views and reads - like 4 a day for about 2 months straight. So maybe production companies don't respect it as much anymore. You put your script on Black List, right?

S M Senden

nothing from them. lots of lookie-loos and no buyers.

Michael Fenske

Haha, low budget horror is exactly what I have up. What is Black List? Maybe thats my problem.

S M Senden

Black list is a prime time TV show.

Dave McCrea

huh? No Blcklst.com is an industry site. Well recommended. Unlike inktip, they give you a brief coverage as well.

Michael Fenske

Yeah! I just checked it out, i haven't heard about it before. Thanks for the tip. And FYI it is also a prime time TV show:-)

This is an InkTip sale (low budget horror). It shoots in October: https://pro-labs.imdb.com/title/tt3765788/ That said, I have other low budget horror flicks on the site that have generated little interest.

Michael Fenske

Thanks, kerry. Guess i just need to keep at it
