Hi, all!
Wonder if any might recommend an outstanding coverage reader -- someone you've used that really takes her time, reads EVERY WORD, asks and THINKS about what the writer is trying to accomplish, and offers suggestions for improvements on pace, structure, story, and character.
Getting the coverage done FAST is NOT important. I need a critical thinker who takes her time and goes deep in consideration of the work. Who can "see" the story and its potential flaws. Who doesn't just check boxes for a quick buck.
Might someone like this even exist? Perhaps you've worked with a person of this caliber and might be willing to pass on a name.
I'd sure be most grateful.
All the best,
Bob Pondillo

Bob Pondillo yes. I'm actually working with him now after he gave me coverage on a script and after is willing to get me distribution. He read everything and started with the positives plus what to improve and how to make it more marketable. Armen Dilanchian at 4D Legacy Studios. You can call him directly. Let him know I referred you. I sent you a friend request and I'll send you his number via email on here.

Hi Bob, I have a nearly perfect score as a Coverfly peer reader after reading 100s of scripts. I love providing feedback. Happy to read your script if you want to send it my way.

Hi, Bob Pondillo. Stage 32 has different feedback services (www.stage32.com/scriptservices). I ordered a Feature Script Read + 30 Minute Talk with an Executive (Michael Wormser), and it helped me improve my script. Here's a post I made about it: www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting/Stage-32-Feature-Script-Read-30-min...

Good Luck, Bob! Thats the beauty of having $$$$, you can interview several candidates, maybe do a baker's dozen/ask 5-10 page free sample from coverage readers & then hire the best fit for you.

You're not looking for coverage. Coverage is short, intended to give a studio exec or agent a fast once over idea of what's happening in the material, with a pass or consider grade. That is different from analysis. Analysis is an analysis of the work with many elements addressed (structure, character, tone, theme, pacing, motion, voice, presentation, and more) really analyzed and then considered in a report that looks at all of these elements in depth. It's a different animal. And much much longer than "coverage," which is usually a page or two and a grid with check boxes for scores.
