It's my narrative director debut film. Yes, it's a "no" budget ZZYZX Films production. However, if you look at my credits and the fact that I am represented by UTA... that could be quite a plus for any talented screenwriter that wants to collaborate on a short story that floors everyone that reads it... seriously! Just let me know and reach out! Would love to get this going and shoot before the end of the year. The story "Careful what you ask for" is a powerful look at how life deals many twists and turns. Ones that you never expect to happen, will and do. I will be bringing some of the finest and talented people from Make Up to DP's and all in-between to work with as well. Trust me, you'll want to be a part of this one. Not "blowing smoke" here, very committed and think it will go far. Definitely will get people talking and wanting to know who was involved. Pay will be involved once a deal is locked with a financial partner, one that "we" decide to go with. Many are interested at this point in the process but I'm about partnering with people and making "collaborative" decisions. Not ones based on ego or control. Not that kind of Director. I think you got most people with word "Agency". Shit, I'd love to take a stab at this because you're the kind of guy I dream about working with, but I've committed myself to several projects already. I don't think you'll go wrong though with finding a writer here. There are definitely some talent on here. Reach out to Beth Fox Heisinger and check out her logline. It's fabulous.

I know a few talented screenwriters, I am a newbie so probably not the right fit, but I love to create rich characters and dialogue. I would be interested in working on this project, though I'm new.
I'm a screenwriter who's gotten as high as quarterfinals in the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, and I've had some low-budget producers pay me to write features for them... but I really need to get my stuff read by agencies so I can try to get representation for more paid gigs! Therefore, count me in on wanting to write!

Travis, your question is why I posted the msg.; look through the thread of comments that start with Mark's post; they are chronological; find Mark's comments; mark the Discussion as one you want to follow (toolbar on the side); notifications will be sent to the email you gave Stage 32 every time a msg. is posted on the thread you're following. Look at them for any that Mark posts. You can do this process for any other discussions you want to follow also. Make sense?
ah, yes, I see it now. Thanks, Katherine. unfortunately, he wants samples that are registered with WGA... I've never registered any of my specs because I can't afford it. And the producers that paid me to write features for them registered it themselves. Guess I'm SOL (and yes, I know it only costs about $25 to register, but that's more than I can afford)
