Hello, Stage 32 Community!
We're nothing if not flexible here at the Pitch Practice Session. This week's session has been moved to Wednesday, July 3rd instead of Thursday due to the 4th of July holiday—same time as usual, 5:30 pm PT, 8:30 pm ET. Let's have a strong turnout of attendees and hear some great, creative pitches! Enjoy your 4th of July, everyone!

Thank you John for the update! May I make a suggestion? This would be helpful if you could sometimes do pitch practice at 1 p.m. PT, as 5.30 p.m. PT in Central Europe is 1.30 a.m., making it difficult to participate. This is merely a recommendation for the remaining members. You have a lovely session, and we'd love to be a part of it sometimes. Thank you.

Hi Sandra. I do appreciate the suggestion. This has actually been discussed a few times over the years at Pitch Practice. The majority of our attendees voted on the current time as what works best for them. However, there has also been some conversations about an international Pitch Practice Session, catering to those community members living abroad from the US. It's something Stage 32 is considering and will contemplate further.

Hi John, and thank you for your replay. That are good news! Yes, please consider an international pitch practice session. I'm happy you thought about it. Thank you, and have an amazing session.

Thanks for the update, John. If there are any no-shows due to the schedule change, I'm available to pitch something brand new.

Yes, definitely attend Bill Brock. We had to do things a little different this week because of such a great turnout of questions for last week's guest, Laurie Ashbourne. That part of happy hour ran over so I am taking 5 pitchers for tomorrow at the beginning of the session, and any breaking story attendees. Then I will be taking volunteers for next week's session afterwards.

Is it open to anyone?
How can I RSVP to this event?

No need to RSVP, Steven Prado. If you are a Writer's Room member, you should be receiving an email link to the pitch practice 1 hour earlier, or you can attend from the Writer's Room Portal (writer's room red tab) when it starts. This week's forum is different from our regular procedure. I'll be taking 5 volunteers at the start of the session, and 5 other volunteers for next week after the pitches are heard and our notes are given.
