My wife and I finally viewed Room last evening. Emma Donoghue's writing from the boy's POV amazed me. She captured his internal dialogue with poignancy and honesty. I was fascinated by the stories he told himself in order to interpret his world. Ms. Donoghue captivated me with her screenplay. Is there a current screenwriter who touches you with their insight into your inner dialogue?

You are spot on, Damien. I've not read the screenplay but intend to. I gravitate toward character driven films far more than action. I would be slow to take a job to write a script for the action genre. It might be fun.
