Thanks, folks. You CAN make a living working for smaller studios and independents... just make sure you carefully check their credentials first - BEFORE you start a dialog.

I'd like to know about the business end of screenwriting. Thanks for this and hopefully more related articles, like: how much are screenplays worth and the variables, contracts with production companies, working with entertainment lawyers, not having an agent.
