So it's finally happening. After my successful pitch and meeting request, contact with the executive was made. They loved my pitch deck (a few small thing added as per their request) and a meeting date and time was set. It's all happening on Wednesday at 7pm UK time. Nerves are normal right? Any hints or tips or suggestions? All info welcome and positive vibes greatly accepted :)

Thanks M LaVoie - I booked the meeting through my pitch on here. I'm excited but will restrain myself. :)

I haven't booked a meeting through a pitch on Stage 32, Mark Palmer, but generally you want to research the person so you'll know about them, what projects they've worked on, and what they're working on now.
Take a few seconds or a minute for small talk before jumping into the pitch.
Go into the meeting with other material in your back pocket in case they want to hear about them.
Look at the meeting as a networking opportunity. Even if they pass on your project (hope they don't), you can leave a great impression on them that might lead to more meetings and other opportunities.
As for the nerves, breathe and think positive thoughts.
And lastly, you got this.

have a glass of water on hand and go to it when you need a moment to pause. take a sip, let the moment break, then proceed onto the next moment!
