Driven by guilt upon the news of his ex-wife’s death, a man returns to the city where he raised his family only to learn from the friend of his estranged daughter about the life he missed.
The story is memorable … thought-provoking ... inspiring.

Backstories is a stand-alone short film that will also be part of an anthology film comprised of five shorts, with unrelated stories and characters, all take place in the same room in an abandoned church building. Five different directors will bring the scripts to life with their vision and talents. The scripts, written by Tim Wesemann, will be filmed by the Director of Photography, Michael Dahl.
The feature-length anthology film (yet to be titled) will include the stories:
• Backstories (in pre-production)
• Hope Lives Here (in post-production)
• Risotto to Go
• My Holy Ground
• Crescendos
