Hollywood Producer with 6 feature films is seeking scripts for next film. Looking for spooky on the edge of your seat thriller horror script for shooting in a small town by a lake.
Have one set in a small town that heavily involves a lake. Finalist in 2 screenplay competitions. But don't realistically see how it can be made on your budget. Lots of make-up special effects and some visual effects.
What the Hell, people! The op already said shooting will take place in a small town by a lake and followed up with a budget of $75K. What more do you need to know? If you've got what you deemed as a possible script then submit it to him, the rest, as Phillip said, is not your concern. And then you tell him off and insult him? I actually can't believe Phillip is being so reasonable about this.
I dont have a relevant script, but just curious. No one get mad at me okay. If the location has to be around a lake does the script have to have a lake setting because unless the lake is a character or the monster resides in the lake then really a lot of scripts could be shot there. I mean some writers don't worry about specific locations.
Hi Phillip, I am currently writing a contained horror/thriller that could easily take place at the location you already have sourced. I could send you a synopsis and logline if you're open to scripts that are close to completion? I currently have two spec scripts in the finals of one competition and another in the top 5% of the Bluecat screenplay contest. You can reach me at outpost32@gmail.com. Thanks and best of luck with the project.
Budget? I have a 15-time film festival winning (to date) horror script that takes place in a small winter-isolated town where the small lake is the center of all bad.
What is your budget?
$75,000 budget
I'd love for you / them to look at "Absolution" but I don't think it could be done for that budget. I will keep my ears open if I hear of anything.
got a possession script and a few others that meet those requirements. jhorton2003@gmail.com for details.
We already have a location set
