Screenwriting : Passion project by John Radtke

John Radtke

Passion project

What's your passion project?

Shawn Speake

All of my projects are passion projects for one reason or another. It's the only way I can spend the time necessary to make the project special.

Anthony Cawood

What Shawn said.

William Martell

I just got fired off mine.

Pierre Langenegger

What's yours, John? Damn, Bill.

LindaAnn Loschiavo

Ouch, William! OUCH!

Cherie Grant

So far I'm passionate about all my projects or I wouldn't be doing them. I can't say one is more important than the other at this stage. This may change though.

Bob Greenwade

As with the others who have posted, there's some passion behind everything I work on, or I wouldn't be working on them. Even so, there's one project that rises above the others: my novels. I have a self-published two-part story already out (find me at Lulu.com) with a three-part follow-up almost ready to go, if I can just sell enough copies of the first to pay for the cover art.

Jackie Kirkpatrick

My passions were stolen from me long ago and I want so much to reclaim them again if possible.

John Radtke

My passion project. I love Samurai movies. Movies like Yojimbo, Seven Samuarai. Kurosawa always moved me when I watch his movies. Challenge is making a good Samurai movie.

Shawn Speake

@Jackie… I'm sorry for what happened to you. My life coach, Joel Osteen, would say, "you gotta shake it off and get your fire back!" You can do it. I know you can!

Debbie Croysdale

Like the above motto. I feel passions never really leave, but they can certainly stay unignited. Jackie I hope the embers start to glow for you.

Cherie Grant

Owen everyone else has answered the same way. Don't know you're singling me out. They all are my passion because as with everything I write I write something, unintentionally, personal into them. The themes. My themes are always about being the outcast or a freak or bullied. Every single one. I can't help myself. Considering i was mercilessly bullied and friendless during school life that makes it personal.

Beth Fox Heisinger

That's great, Cherie. I feel the same way about my projects -- I'm passionate about them all for different reasons. The different reasons correlate to something personal. :)

Phillip E. Hardy, "The Real Deal"

The best work I’ve done have been the stories about controversial people like Angela Davis and J.D. Salinger and subjects like the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing. I put a lot of extra concentration and thought into them.

Patrick Freeman

I can't say that all my projects are my "passion projects". One project was a work for hire, I didn't get paid but I did get to direct. Others I have begun as the stories came to me but they lost steam along the way. Usually those ones are like old friends that you lose track of, but when you get back in touch it's like you were never apart. But I have a few scripts that are so dear to me that I can't imagine a dollar figure that would cause me to part with them and risk someone else destroying them.

William G Chandler Jr

I would like to write another Star Wars film. I would love to create an old republic piece, with multiple Jedi and Sith. The relationship is interesting and it seems like it would be fun to explore.
