PDF Files

I was wondering if there was someone that could help me with a PDF file conversion issues? I keep converting my Final Draft version of my screenplay to a PDF document, and it keeps creating an additional title page with just the title information. Script Title, Written by, Name of First Writer etc. I don't want that page on my final PDF document. It also converts the finished title page on the second page. Does anyone know how I would get rid of the first one? I would REALLY appreciate the help! Thanks! Merry

Hi Merry, I use PDFTKBuilder (http://www.angusj.com/pdftkb/) to manipulate my PDF's. It's a free application and does the trick all the time. You can extract pages, add split, turn, etc. Hope this helps. Francisco

Hi Merry! I don't know if I can help much... but, Final Draft has a separate, independent page for the title page -- it excludes it in its creation from the rest of the script. Perhaps you decided to create your own title page within the regular pages of a script and did not utilize this separated version? Therefore, when you go to save a pdf the program is automatically adding that separate title page. So, when saving a pdf from Final Draft, within the "save" window, in which you name your file, there is a small box, "include title page," to "check" or "uncheck." Perhaps "uncheck" to remove the program's title page. :) I hope that helps! Or, if all else fails, the Final Draft web site has a pretty good support base for questions. Here's one answer I found: http://kb.finaldraft.com/article/1001/43/
