Trying to get some feedback on my pitch. New here so forgive me if I am out of order. If The Matrix went on a Journey with the Wizard of Oz and ended up meeting Inception. Authorized or Unauthorized sequel to a multi billion dollar franchise, The Matrix Reboot is the first installment to its own 'Thrillogy', the other two being - The Matrix Resurrection and The Matrix Revelation. Embodying all that made the Original Matrix film a cult classic, The jesus story overladid onto Alice in Wonderland, The Matrix Reboot does not break the formula and tells its own Jesus story, but this time overlaid on The Wizard of Oz. Wary of 'Sampling'? Don't be. It is how the rap and hip hop industries were built. It is how Reggae was built. And just as Bob Marley, my Caribbean brother and Reggae's most iconic figure, did for music, I intend to do for film, using The Matrix Reboot as that springboard for my other completed scripts which include A Man's Guide to Good Cheating, Casanova Con, Robinson's Cruesoe, Univited, Enemies Closer and The Stick Fighter. So not just a script or a franchise this could be a gateway to a movement The script's first line is That's Impossible and its last is "Welcome to the real world" and it is fitting since your initial reaction to an unknown writer having the audacity to compare his work to The Matrix would be to say That's impossible but I assure you, once you consume my story and take the journey with me, at the end, you will be saying...Timothy...Welcome To the real World. I am Timothy Christopher Teemal AKA P Nokio and I am Magi.

Wow, quite a mouthfull, but not sure what is going on. Strong examples, but I would need a little more focus. It certainly sound like a fun read.
How about if I added the Logline and the Synopsis? The Matrix Reboot "Wanting more than his lot in his world, Eon is forced into the Matrix to protect his brother. After forming an alliance with rogue agents and the all powerful Zard, he defeats a rebel leader bent on shattering the truce between humans and machines, but betrayal sees great loss, and the secret revealed, that Eon may be the New Chosen One." The truce between Machines and humans is threatened when a small band of women rebels, led by Morta, visit the Matrix to hunt specific targets. Toto, the rebel's newest target, gets help from an anonymous call by Zard, just as he is about to become the rebels latest victim. Escaping their clutches, Toto retreats to solace by his step brother's Eon's night spot, Kansas, but he is followed by one of the rebels - Decima. In protecting his step brother from execution, Eon creates a 'storm,' and luckily kills Decima, but as he and Toto face certain death from her allies, they are rescued by Agents - Crow, Lyon and Thin. Eon and Toto find synergies with the Agents, and they form an alliance to seek out Zard; the holder of all that they desire. Following the 'yellow brick road,' the group of 5 eventually get to 'emerald city' where they meet Zard, but not before a memorable encounter with Nona, which sees sparks fly between she and Eon. Zard the negotiator wants to put a stop to Morta and tasks Eon and the rest with bringing back her 'head', in exchange for 'riches' and in order to succeed, he gives them special 'training.' Training that they use to defeat Morta's rings of bodyguards of Spooks, Vamps and Sentinels. Successfully reaching Morta, Eon is captured and Morta's real plan is revealed, but she is betrayed by Decima, who, after 'choosing' Eon, forms an alliance with the agents and Toto, and they rescue Eon and defeat Morta. Triumphantly back at Emerald city to collect their rewards from Zard, they are betrayed as Zard's mask falls and his truth revealed. After an epic battle, Eon is forced to make a choice, and when he does, he finds out that he was within a Matrix, within another Matrix. Purged from the Matrix, he is rescued, but his powers from the Matrix has transcended to the Real World, hinting that Eon may be the New Chosen One.

Are you pitching a Matrix reboot? If so, don't waste your time, spend your efforts on pitching something original that you will also have the rights to pitch.

You can't write it unless you have the rights. It's illegal.

Now that would be something to put me on the map for sure. Like my own version of a sex tape. Lol
