Does any of you have experience sending your finished screenplay to a script analyst? It woud be nice to hear from you guys about your experiences. I will be finished in one month or so with my screenplay and I want to send it to a company or person that knows his profession.

Many members utilize Happy Writers for coverage/development notes/consulting/pitching. Perhaps take a look: https://www.stage32.com/happy-writers/pitch-sessions. :)
Thanks Beth, I will take a look.
You're welcome, Harry. :) You could also do a general search by topic in the Lounge. Just type in your subject(s) and all related threads will be listed. There's been a lot of discussion about coverage, script consulting, Happy Writers, etc. I hope that helps! Best to you. :)

As a producer who performs script consulting work on the side, I strongly encourage you to consider what your own goals are. Some script consultants are stronger in teaching the mechanics of screenwriting, some are stronger in teaching the business side, and some are somewhere in the middle. (Personally, I'm in the middle.) Your choice depends on your current needs. For example, I'm a producer selling in the Hollywood market. I understand story, craft, and the market, as I have current experience in the US film and TV market, England, and Australia. I have strong experience with Aussie, English, and Canadian filmmakers, but I have no experience selling in the Netherlands, where Harry is based. I expect that Harry might benefit from a very specific script consultant, possibly based in Europe but it really depends on his needs and where he wants to take his career. This is not an ad for what I do. My point is that choosing an appropriate consultant depends on what the individual's situation and goals are. It depends on Harry's intentions. Best of luck!!!

I had my script précised by someone and their notes were very useful in my understanding what was lacking from it. In essence, the main thing absent was character arc. There were a lot of positives from it and the formal notes I received were invaluable in my developing it further. I realise précising a script my be slightly different from a full script consultation, but it was still very useful.
I would try have it read widely by friends, family, colleagues, and other writers to find all the minor typo's, grammatical errors, confusing sentences etc before going to a pro and paying for their (valuable) time. Getting a spelling correction in a report really is a waste of time for both them and you, and will probably cost you in terms of their engagement in your script.
Hey Harry, if you're looking for a reputable and experienced script consultant, I'd be happy to help. I run No BullScript Consulting, am a former development exec, and I also write. Make sure as you search for the right person, you know the difference between notes and coverage. it's the former you should be looking for. I'm happy to answer any questions.
