Hi! I'm Tom and I LOVE to write. Have you ever had that feeling like you were CLOSE to doing what you are supposed to do but just missing the mark, constantly? I felt like that for almost 18 years while working in radio as an announcer. (and yes, the horrible stereotypes about radio are true... actually, they're worse). I blindly stumbled onto screenwriting and consider myself fortunate to have met a group of like minded seekers in an introductory class in Ottawa. I am eternally grateful for the patience, knowledge and guidance of an amazing woman by the name of Sharon Buckingham. I've written a full length feature and am working on a new idea as well as a series idea. All of them are in the comedy genre. I can't help it... I love funny! No, I haven't sold anything but I consider myself lucky to have found something that I want to wrap myself in fully and completely. And yes, I will take the bad with the good. I'm here because I want to get better, I want to learn, I want to meet creative people and collaborate and work together to help make a vision come to life.

Thanks guys. I try to push myself every day and grow as a writer. I believe everyone has the ability to teach if you are willing to learn. Thank you for the links and the support.
