Introduce Yourself : Producer, director, screenwriter by Börje Peratt

Hello fellow Creatives! I am a Swedish filmmaker born in Stockholm 1949. Turning 70 next year there are still so much to do. Having premiere and distribute the documentary "The Patient who built a Hospital". Complete the sequel about Dr Enby "The Last Battle". Complete the book trilogy on "The Origin of Consciousness" with the third book "Try and Try Again". Getting two features into production. "John Bauer and the Mountain KIng" and "Land of Wooden Gods". And my son says I have to put my Musical "The Fair" on Stage. I started the career at Swedish Public Broadcast Radio (SR) and the Swedish Public Broadcast Television (SVT) and have made TV-series, Short films and Documentaries and not until later Features. I have an urge to tell and the driving force is existential questions and our way of facing obstacles to realize the meaning of life. I promised my self that if something like that would occur again I would do anything to resist it. Being a journalist the most important is defending human rights and democracy. And those are at danger today. I am, married to Ritva mother of our two sons and she is equal partner in our three media companies and of great importance for everything we produce. I am responsible for the creative ideas and she for turning every penny into multiple resources. She has also sort of a final view on anything we do. We are blessed with a lovely grandchild that needs babysitting. After months of skyping we can for some weeks also get hugs and enjoy the wonderful things a 18 months baby has to sing out.
