Hi everybody! I’m an unproduced screenwriter living in Newark, Delaware. Yes, that’s right. DELAWARE. Land of big banks, credit card companies, chemicals, chickens, and legal tax evasion. I’ve recently joined Stage32 as a much needed self-kick in the butt to get back into screenwriting again. I’m even currently trying to get a job different from the one I have now so that I will have more time to write. Looking forward to connecting with any and all creatives on here! Thanks!
Nice to meet you, Vincent. Yes, I even work for the Blue Hen bosses, so to speak. I like your film poster! I’ve written a few shorts (one thriller/ghost story, one romantic comedy, and two romances). In addition, I’ve written a treatment and Act 1 of a drama feature. Thanks for connecting! I look forward to staying in touch.
HI Jennifer, Nice to meet you here. I am a creative type, play drums & hand percussion, some vibes, and working on my style of film music. Some of the examples are at SoundCloud link here and on my website. Good luck into screen writing. There's a group in Columbus called MOFA ( on FB) Mid-Ohio Film Association. I've been to a few meetings. They have good info in this business (even online :~) Hope to hear from you and have a Bless'd week. K. Kennard
Hi Kerry. Thank you for the connection! It’s nice to meet you. I will check out your music! Thanks too for the info about MOFA. It sounds like it could be helpful. Thanks again, and have a great week!

Thank you, Andrew and Rashika, for welcoming me! I appreciate it!
Being a Native New Yorker only knew of Newark, New Jersey. Now I know there is a Newark Delaware too. Wow! BTW good luck.
Thanks, Steven. From what native Delawareans told me when I came here, the two Newarks are actually pronounced somewhat differently. They got quite upset when they caught me saying ithe name of their town quickly with equal stress on the the two syllables. In Delaware, primary stress is placed on the “New” (or first) syllable. I just thought you might want to know that interesting piece of information. Best of luck!

Think we connected via Email; don't forget Dupont. My bro use to be part of it.
Hope to connect more, Jennifer.

Welcome Jennifer to the land of creatives where your voice and opinion matters as well as your screenwriting. Do you recall a day when you knew screenwriting became your medium of storytelling?

I am from Maryland! Born and raised, moved to LA in 2015. If you ever want to connect over scripts or just the east coast, let me know!

Thanks, Kerry, Clayton, William, Aaron, and Fasika! I appreciate all of your welcoming comments. To answer your question, Clayton, I would say it was when I was taking a beginning screenwriting course online some years ago with Gotham Writers Workshop and I had just finished writing my first premise for a narrative feature (a drama). Suddenly I felt like my up-till-now vague story had taken shape with a crystalline clarity. When my teacher told me she thought the premise was very original, that sealed the deal. I was going to be a screenwriter.
Fasika, I just wanted to thanks for letting me know of your Maryland connection. Actually, I was raised in Chicago but lived in Philadelphia for a long time as an adult before coming to Delaware. Great to connect with you!

Welcome, Jennifer. We all need a kick from time to time. Hope being on here helps you. And if you ever want to chat about your writing or the craft in general, feel free to come say hi. My best, Phil
Thanks, Phil. I appreciate it. Great to meet you.
Hi Jennifer, If you would please look at my three log lines. Good luck with your writing. Remember, the Three act rule was developed in 1979. It's NOT Carved in Stone. Check out 'Save the Cat' if you're interested in another format.
