Hi all! I'm a Native American/African American writer from Boston, Massachusetts. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University in 2015.
I write dramas, psychological thrillers, and horrors about characters dealing with mental illness, identity issues, sexuality, and death. I was a quarterfinalist in Final Draft Big Break and BlueCat Screenplay Competition and recently placed as a semifinalist in the Screencraft Pilot Launch Competition.
Shortly after my move to Los Angeles, I was accepted into the LA SKINS FEST TV Writer’s Lab, where I worked in a writers room style environment, wrote a drama pilot in five weeks, and had the opportunity to pitch it to BadRobot, NBC, HBO, ABC, and more.
I work at Netflix now as a studio data administrator and help the TV, Film, and PR teams defeat current data management needs.
Looking forward to connecting.
Sounds like you're on your way and doing well. Nice to meet you and here's to your continued success!

Hi, Khadijah! I love your first name; its lyrical... I attended Harvard and B.U., and love Boston. I, also, love writing dramas, psychological thrillers and suspense-thrillers, and if you lived here in NYC, perhaps we could collaborate on a script in the future...
Sounds like your scripts would resonate well with the tough, overcoming challenges type of characters I play best.
Have you been to Tuesday's @9 to test your work there or other table read places?
