Hi! I'm excited to be here.
I'm a Film Director and Writer from Argentina. I wrote more than 10 feature-length scripts, but 4 of them are usable. I published a short stories' collection (horror and sci-fi) and had a novel awarded in a contest in my home country.
But wait! This year I wrote a dramedy pilot, and I'm looking for representation. I also made a feature film, all alone, just by myself. I directed, acted, and edited it. It's a found-footage/mockumentary horror film. With a single father trapped in a zombie apocalypse with her 8-month daughter.
Well, now people are praising me. Even a few distribution companies are interested. I'm now preparing it to submit it to a few festivals. Which ones do you suggest?
p.s: I don't know if I'm allowed to put links, but here's the trailer:

Good, I watched it. It's amazing to see people like you produce something like this by yourself. Incredible!

Fabulous stuff, man! What kind of camera and equipment did you use?
Thanks! I used a cellphone (Xiaomi, a Chinese brand) that is able to film in 4K. And I used just a LED lamp (10w bulb. Hard light. To achieve chiaroscuro) and sometimes the light of the house to fill up a little.

Thanks for the info, Brian. Did you collaborate with anyone in any capacity or was it a complete one man show?

Well done, Brian!
Glory Anna It was a one-man show! I wrote it, directed it, acted on it, and edited it. It was done in a month, in quarantine.
Thanks Tasha Lewis , and Wayne Mathias ! It means a lot!

Hey, Brian Largo! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. Nice to meet you! Wow, congrats on staying active and creative during quarantine! If you're looking to network with managers, you can look up members based on occupation: https://www.stage32.com/people Otherwise, definitely reach out to our Director of Script Services, Jason Mirch, who is excellent at matching projects with potential executives (or managers, in your case): J.Mirch@stage32.com
I think the next available manager you can pitch to is Andrew Wilson, who does happen to like horror/thrillers, so it's definitely worth taking a look: https://www.stage32.com/happy-writers/pitch-sessions/Pitch-Andrew-Wilson...
I’m sure you’ve already discovered the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting), but I'd love for you to start a post in the Filmmaking Lounge! Maybe you could discuss what it was like filming all by yourself? https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:
https://www.stage32.com/blog/Find-Your-Community-on-Stage-32
Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect!
Thanks for your recommendations Karen "Kay" Ross, I'll take a look at everything you said!
Congratulations on making things happen anyway! :)
Elena Maro thanks!
