Hi, everyone! Just emerging from SnowPocalypse 2021! The sun is shining, the snow is melting, and we're definitely past the worst of it.
I'm a screenwriter and playwright in Austin... in the past year, I've started making short films as well, which is a great creative and logistical challenge, especially during the lovely pandemic.

Hi, Sarah Gabrielle Baron -- I am originally from Canada -- and while I have lived through much colder temperatures than what we experienced in TX last week, it's a totally different experience. The City of Austin doesn't even own a snowplow, and there are no snow shovels to be found in the stores! But we made it!!

Hi, Brian Carlin! I created a script that allowed me to film actors with masks on (their faces are unseen in the movie), and with locations and scenes that allowed for social distancing and mostly outdoor settings. Kept the crew to a minimum and did LOTS of planning beforehand so that in-person communication was limited on the shoot. All these things combined to make a project that could be handled during this nasty pandemic.

Hey Audrey, Austin is one of my favorite towns in the US (Great live music scene!). I can't imaging what you guys are going through. Not only the cold but your rolling black/brown outs and Ted Cruz! I hope the weather warms up and things get back to normal soon!
