Hey Stage 32 community, I'm excited to be joining. I am an "indie filmmaker". I have produced and/or directed seven feature films, three of which are presently airing on Netflix worldwide. I am also a teacher and Consultant, specializing in Film Distribution and Finance. You may have seen/heard some of my videos/podcasts on Film Courage, Indie Film Hustle, Writersgrouptherapy, etc. I look forward to interacting with lots of filmmakers on Stage 32. Filmmaking is a tough business and I can give you some useful tips to get you past the obstacles.

HELLO, JEFF DEVERETT. I have just looked at your site. You have a compelling lineup of projects. Each looks sensitive to its subject and worth seeing. I think so in particular because they allow me to think of my own work in conjunction with what you are doing at DMG. And your casting director is most impressive. :) If a good dog says you are okay, you must be okay. May I ask if you have a submissions policy, or may I write to you or one of your colleagues somewhere, to describe some of my own scripts? I have a variety of screenplays: a Vietnam war story never told; a religious comedy that asks the forbidden question; a comic relief satire for the fed-up, which explains how we got here (based in a fictional country and on a fictional event, with character names that have been changed to protect the guilty); a drama of a typical American family which shows what war veterans keep to themselves, and what others pay for their secrecy; ETC. Hi Jeff, nice to know that you are a teacher and consultant specializing Film Distribution. Hope you will the the key to my first Documentary film. I am working with a musician and continuously collaborating with him about the film. I really want to make this happen. It is my first film and my dream.
