Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror. Yeah, I write that.

Hi All -

My name is Martin Reese. I've been a part of the Stage 32 community since 2014. My genres of choice are sci-fi, fantasy and horror. You can checkout a bunch of my loglines on my profile. I'm always happy to help my fellow writers in any way I can. Just last year my script THE EYE OF OWUO won Stage 32's Micro-Budget Horror Script Competition (with Trick Candle Productions and Glass House Distribution) that included a $5000 option and eligibility for a production greenlit for up to $100,000.

I'm a member of the Writers' Room (great way to network with fellow writers and learn how to improve your craft). I am a huge advocate of this platform. I have taken numerous webinar and courses. I have used the script services too. Being an active part of this community has helped propel me forward in my writing career.

Currently I'm working on a supernatural detective TV series called MAJK. I'm on my third version of the pilot. Writing is rewriting. Am I right? Can I get an Amen? I wrote a storybook called MULOGO AND HIS QUINTUPLE OF TROUBLE (available at Amazon) which I hope to turn into an animated feature. Hope to meet and connect with more of you.

Hey Martin!! I love supernatural dramas. One of my favorites to watch, but the one I'm most intimidated to write. Your work sounds super interesting! And congrats on your script win. Such an awesome accomplishment.

Pat Savage

Being an active part of this community does help propel us forward in our writing careers and I see you are a long time member like me so know this well! Kudos on your successes and may it continue!

Hey Marah Halvorsen my advice is just to start writing. It's fun. As a matter of fact if you write something I'll be only too glad to give a read and offer any pointers I can. And by the way your loglines are awesome.

Martin Reese

Thanks Pat Savage. This platform offers so many opportunities to succeed.

Marah Halvorsen

Thank you! I'll definitely take you up on that offer one of these days. I'll take all the feedback I can get!
