on the 22nd, 28th, and 29th of this month, I am pitching 3 different projects to 3 different producers. I'm pitching my feature, DIRTY BLUE tomorrow, then on the 28th I'm pitching my short film, PEDOPHILIA: A LOVE STORY, then on the 29th, I'm pitching my feature, RED SUNSET, to a film financier to try to talk him out of some money so I can make it myself.

I had a pitch on Sunday and a pitch today. The pitch Sunday couldn't have gone better. He was totally engaged, and requested my script (First time ever!) The pitch today was less successful. I pitched a woman who was interested in short films. She told me that my short film was to long to be a short, and I could easily expand it into a feature. Truthfully, it was the nicest NO I've ever heard.

sorry for the lateness of this reply. The producer that I pitch her on stage32 was Liska Ostojic. She had plenty of helpful advice for me. Her most important piece of advice was that my story is too long for a short film, and there is more story there, so I should expand it into a feature.

Wow, this is exciting. I've had a few of those nicest no(s), especially when it comes with great advice. I call it fuel for my determination that runs my creative engine. I hope "Dirty Blue" gets optioned. Keep us posted.
