Hey guys, it's Daniel the filmmaker here!
What are your goals for the beginning of 2022??
Well, here are mine:
Step 1- Final formatting of both my scripts in development, my 1st feature film script and my backup project .
Step 2- Do some Artwork and Visuals, especially a Teaser Poster & the concept art of a few key sequences.
Step 3- Finalize the film package plan & presentation material for both projects.
Step 4- Pitching them to as many production companies as I can, especially the top ones involved in the same genre of my scripts.
Step 5- And if step 4 fails, you might ask??
Keep trying & keep working at it, until they can see the same thing I can see in my projects-- Immense Potential to appeal to a wide audience, and at the same time a high concept that could become award material.
Step 6- Worst case scenario!?
Go Indipendent and make my debut film in the worst possible conditions.
Happy 2022 to you all guys!! You really rock!
And I would also love to end this with a wish, to all the struggling, emerging artists & filmmakers out there-- Don't ever give up guys, because we have the power to break that door open one day and we will make it!!✨

Main goals for 2022 is to get an agent/manager and to sell 5 of my scripts and write more scripts!
Congrats, Daniel. And good luck on your 2022 goals, My goals are similar, to create 2 indie films, I won't be going to production houses, I will be making the independent route. And finishing up my war book on Borinqueeneers, and my book on slavery.
A few more projects, in the works. There is potential for pitching one to a production house, but I'm not expecting much from them.
And selling two projects IP I have control over.

I have the Sin 13 series and my work with Independent Producers Guild (see independentproducersguild.org for info), as well as my Earth Kitt feature film. It's going to be a big year.
@shawdow Sounds like sin 13 series is fully worked out and good luck on independent producers guild, i might apply for that guild. Does your production firm have any interest in comedy for tv
Shadow Dragu-Mihai
Best of luck with the series!! Maybe, at some point, we'll be able to see each other and work together on something.
Shadow - I've just listened to Ertha Kitt's 'Santa Baby' - love it. You know I'll be loo[king out for your film. Hope all's going well with Focus tv and the IPG. Have a good year.

I am 3/4 through a romance drama which I am hoping to finish this month then spend a good month or so tweaking and editing and then get some coverage and notes on it and see if what I got is any good or if I crashed and burned.
It's not a typical Hollywood boy gets girls type romance drama that is written to a page number format and everyone ends up happy at the end. I see it being a more melancholy brooding type of film that I hope a director can get across in their shots and editing and film style. I have never written this genre before so I am finding it creatively interesting and challenging.
Logline (yes I know it needs work, just a draft at this stage)
Needing a fresh start, divorced big city Town Planner James takes a job in a small dying conservative town. The one thing he didn't plan on though was falling in love with the enigmatic and guarded Millie who proves that love and town planning are not that different.
