The Korean war was not just South Korea vs North Korea. It was also China Vs South Korea. As the American forces entered the war, to assist South Korea and fight off Chinese soldiers, the USA was pushed back by the Chinese forces. The Brutal force of the Chinese people republic army almost destroyed all the USA soldiers in Korea and pushed the South Korean army to a breaking point in the process, they were barely holding on. But some unlikely heroes, from a small island in the Caribbean, were called to fight. The regular us soldiers in Korea were fleeing the war or disobeying direct orders and getting court-martialed. The soldiers of the 65th army regiment, from Puerto Rico, were brought to fight. They were called, The Boriqueeneers. They were sent on a suicide mission to fight back the Chinese, and help South Korea.
