Hello fellow screenwriters! 2022 has kicked off with a bang for me!
I’m happy to announce that my original television script, CULTURE, has been chosen to advance in the 2022 Black Boy Writers, Black Girl Writes x Stage 32 mentorship initiative!
CULTURE, holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been off and on with the concept and characters since 2018. Last year, I finally sat down and workshopped for months before thinking about actually writing the script. My first screenplay I’ve written by myself (been in a writing duo for 3 years) in a long time, was well received, and that’s all I could ask for. Thank you to Mike Gauyo and Stage 32 for giving underrepresented writers a chance for our work to be read.
