Introduce Yourself : I'm Austin Oliver and I am a film maker by Austin Oliver

Few years down the line, I stumbled into film making. I started out as a trainee at a media company where I learned cinematography, video editing and other skills I now know.

I'm not too good at detailing things so, I'll fast forward to year 2020, where I met some amazing group of friends. They had written a TV series and needed a camera or someone to shoot for them. Along the line, I became part of the group and we were able to shoot episode 1-4. But because of finances, we had to abandoned the project. I was sad. Many of us were. I was sad the most because it was my first time to actually direct a movie. And due to finances, we had to abandoned the project. It was as if my dreams had shattered.

But I knew God had a better plan for me. "For all things work together for good to them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose".

So, I told the script writer to write a short script and that we should start doing short film. So, we took our disadvantages and turned it around. Right there, God gave me a story to write on. Since I wasn't the script writer, I had to call her; the script writer and explained the idea to her and she said, since I have the story, I should go ahead to write the script. Which I did.

God provided the cast. We went on set. Shot the movie and it came out well. It was a success!!! And this time, we were able to shoot our very first film with just a dollar. Isn't God amazing?

Philippians 2:13 says "for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Whatsoever God has put in your heart to do, He will accomplish it by His will and might. We don't have to do anything about it, we just have to trust in His wisdom.
