Saying Hello

Hi Everyone! Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday!

I’m currently developing two TV series,’ as well as pitching two other original shows and two features that are completed. I’m continually enhancing my portfolio with new scripts and meeting a lot of amazing people at the same time.

I would love to hear about anyone’s recent successes—big or small. Please share! Happy Sunday!

Wayne Cothron

Hope your having a nice Sunday as well

Suzy Miller

My first short film (writer/producer) is reaching finalist and semi finalist in some competitions right now which is exciting. One small step etc. On my nascent writing career!

Nitara Osbourne

Thank you, Wayne Cothron! Would love to hear more about you and your projects! Enjoy the rest of your day!

Nitara Osbourne

Congratulations, Suzy Miller! How exciting! Validation goes a long way with us writers. :) I’m very happy for you! Keep us posted!

Angela Smeraldi

Hi Nitara! Happy Sunday! Congrats on all your success and good luck with the pitches! I am in San Diego as well :) I have 2 short films making the festival rounds, and completed 2 features, one of Amazon prime. Always looking to connect and work with other creatives :) Cheers!

Jo Gomesh

Congratulations Nitara Osbourne. I have recently joined stage 32 after completing my first screenplay. I would love to have the opportunity to pitch my ideas. Good luck with your pitches :)

Anthony McBride

My third script is among the top 25% on Coverfly.

Drew Vaeth

Very cool Nitara! I'm currently preparing to release a dark comedy webisode series and in development on several scripts both short and feature length. Always interested to learn more about development, pitching, and portfolio enhancing from others!

Maurice Vaughan

Hi, Nitara Osbourne. Your posts are always positive and encouraging.

I recently created two pitch decks for a writer. We met on Stage 32. https://www.stage32.com/lounge/stage_32_success_stories/Hired-to-Make-Pi...

I finished a short script for an actor last week. We met through Clubhouse.

Best to you on your projects and pitching, Nitara.

Maurice Vaughan

If anyone is on Clubhouse, Karen "Kay" Ross (the Community Manager at Stage 32) runs a room called the Victory Round. We share our victories there. It's every Friday at 4:30 EST.

Nitara Osbourne

Hi Angela Smeraldi! Congratulations on your successes! You seem to be making things happen! A feature on Amazon and shorts making the festival circuit?? Super exciting! That's great that we're both in San Diego as well. I would love to connect and learn more about your projects and the passion behind them.

Nitara Osbourne

Thank you, Jo Gomesh! I appreciate that. And congratulations on completing your first screenplay! That's truly amazing! The fact that you're a "finisher" is something you should be proud of. I mean that. I know you didn't ask for my advice and I humbly don't claim to know everything, but some sound advice that I have received myself that I would like to pass along to you is to keep writing the next script, then the next one, then the next one, and so on. Not only is this a great way to build your portfolio, it's also a fantastic way to discover your authentic voice as a screenwriter and to strengthen your screenwriting skills in the process. Experience is the best teacher.

Nitara Osbourne

Way to go, Anthony McBride! Congratulations! The top 25 is something to be proud of!

Nitara Osbourne

Hi Drew Vaeth! Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you're up to. Releasing a web series and developing several scripts?? That's awesome! I would be happy to have a conversation to share with you how I'm navigating the industry. I would also like to hear your experience and what has worked for you. Let's connect.

Sheterrian Sewell

Hi sheterrian Sewell I'm with opengate entertainment and I'm writing Mafia Love and Ancient Leaders

Nitara Osbourne

Hi Maurice Brown! Thank you for the kind words and the link you provided. I do my best to be optimistic, but there are times when it's challenging. I'm human. I experience failures. Defeats. Horrible disappointments. Moments of sadness and frustration. I allow myself to experience those feelings without beating myself up for feeling them. But I don't stay in that state of mind for too long. I usually pull myself out of those moments with a tried and true self-help book that I've read/listened to in the past that I've enjoyed or by reading/listening to a brand new one. I may even watch a favorite film or series. Anything to put myself back in the frame of mind that is conducive with my goals. This is usually easier said than done, but there's no other alternative for me. Regarding the Clubhouse Victory Round, what a fantastic idea! Celebrating victories helps us all to feel good! It gives us all hope. And congratulations on completing two pitch decks for a writer and a script for an actor!

Nitara Osbourne

Thank you for sharing, Sheterrian! Exciting stuff! Keep writing!

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Nitara Osbourne.

It's great that you're able to put yourself back in the right frame of mind when you feel things like defeat, disappointment, and sadness. If not, those things can prevent you from reaching your goals, they can affect your health, etc.

Yeah, the Victory Round Clubhouse room is a terrific atmosphere. It's exciting to be part of it. Kay invited me a little while ago. I've been to two Victory Rounds.

Thanks for the congrats. Looking forward to hearing more of your victories and the progress with your projects.

Megan Rees

Wow, Nitara! You're doing it!!! Love to see it!

Michael Robert Colbert

Nice to meet you!

Wayne Jarman

Hello, Nitara. Sounds like you are keeping creatively busy. Wishing you every success!

Cherelynn Baker

Welcome to Stage32!

Jo Gomesh

Nitara Osbourne Thank you so much! It means a lot to hear that from someone who knows how hard it can be! I am really happy and I already have an outline for the next script which I haven't started because I don't want to leave my "baby" on the shelf yet, if that makes sense! I appreciate and value any advice you can give me! It is amazing and inspiring to hear about other writer's sucess stories and have people to look up to, especially when you are a newbie like myself! I can't wait to hear more about your journey.

Cara Rogers

Nitara Osbourne, I'm impressed by (jealous of) your ability to work on so many projects at once! I recently received a Double Recommend and will be in the next Stage 32 Lookbook. Jo Gomesh, it's for my first screenplay, a baby I couldn't leave alone either. But during one of my first webinars on here, a successful screenwriter admitted if he'd focused more on any one of his early scripts, it wouldn't have taken him 10 to finally get one produced. So I guess we all do best when operating the way we're designed. :)

Stephen Stallone Thomas
