Your Stage : My new series on YouTube and Rumble by Dan Herman

My new series on YouTube and Rumble

This year has been extremely difficult for me. In January, both my wife and I were hospitalized with Covid. She passed away 9 days later, and I spent approximately 60 days in 3 different facilities. During that time, I prayed and I thought about my life and the development of this series. I didn't realize that it was a "miracle" that I was still alive until my primary care doctor told me a week after I was discharged from the third facility. I believe I am here by the grace of God.

I began posting the series this month (August 2022). My plan is to release 3 new videos each week until the series is done. Dan's Rest Stop" is a series of videos divided into 3 parts (1) Faith, (2) Funny Memories, and (3) Puppets. The stories told in the faith based and funny memories segments are true. Take a break from everyday life. Welcome to Dan's Rest Stop. The series introduction link is shown below:

My condolences to you for your wife and for Hook, Dan Herman. "Dan's Rest Stop" sounds like a great concept. I enjoyed the video. I like the three hats, one for each segment.

Thanks Maurice. Hook who was my wife's service dog actually passed away the day before Thanksgiving in 2021, and my wife passed away about 2 1/2 months later. Hook was the 2016 American Humane Hero Dog winner in the Guide/Hearing Dog category. He saved Joyce from being hit by a light rail train. He always looked after her, and they were quite a team at her office. I am sure they are together again.

Wow, that sounds like it'd be a great movie! "Hook was the 2016 American Humane Hero Dog winner in the Guide/Hearing Dog category. He saved Joyce from being hit by a light rail train. He always looked after her, and they were quite a team at her office. I am sure they are together again."

Maurice: The American Humane people sent a producer from southern California here to recreate their story. The awards show and their story aired on the Hallmark Channel. I have included their segment here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGReK99-3LE

Derek: Thank you. There are some really good stories in the faith based segments, and they are true. If you really need a laugh, make sure you check out the Funny Memories #1 (Christmas at Busia's). There was a Santa Claus there I will never forget.

Wow, the segment is so inspiring and heartfelt! Thanks for sending me the link, Dan Herman.
