Faris Sabanija

Hi all,

I'm Faris Sabanija, and I'm passionate screenwriter and director. Currently, I'm developing a short film that talks about domestic violence against men. I feel like violence against men has become silent and people tend to focus on violence against women, which I understand perfectly. I get violence against women happen often, but in my story I'd like to shine the light on the other side of the story. I'm looking to connect and expand my network,.

P.S I'm a filmmaking student at Prague Film School doing second year.

Thank you!

Nice to meet you, Faris Sabanija. A short film that shines the light on domestic violence against men sounds great. Domestic violence against anyone is wrong. I'm more on the writing/feedback side of the industry, but if I can be of help with your film, let me know.

Faris Sabanija

Maurice Vaughan Yes, that is correct. Domestic violence against ANYONE is wrong! If you could give me a feedback for synopsis I have right now, that'd be great. Thank you very much!

I am a survivor of many years of verbal abuse. I am female; however, abuse and control is not gender specific. I am so happy you are pursuing this subject.

Welcome, Faris! Nice to meet you. Glad you're here. Sounds like you're working on something important.

Faris Sabanija

Francene Mattucci First of all, I am sorry what you've went through. It's horrible! On the other hand, I agree that abuse and control are not gender specific. Anyone can be a part of it and my intention is to show that only can happen to females, but males as well. Thank you for your support, Francene!
