Hello all.
having just had a screenplay review and thought I'd share a couple of pointers.
Always be sure to include DAY or NIGHT in the scene heading regardless of how obvious it may seem.
The use of "NEXT" in the scene heading on page 2 should be replaced with "(CONTINUOUS)
Christine's voice over should be formatted as a character heading, "CHRISTINE (O.S.)." Use "O.S." (or off-screen) because she is speaking from another room. "V.O." is more acceptable for voice over narration or cross cutting.
And if you thought anything might get a pass:
16 and 27- missing periods after laughs
102 - missing period
"ABAGAIL EVENS INVESTIGATES: THE AFFAIR" is a well-executed crime thriller that needs only some minor areas of improvement to take it to the next level. It only received a CONSIDER/CONSIDER so that was blow.
Simon
Congratulations on the Double Consider, Simon Hartwell!

@Maurice thanks but does it really mean anything? Recommend/ Recommend is the target as it puts the logline in front of Producers. I'm not sure Consider/ Consider does anything.

I haven't done a review yet, but "needs only some minor areas of improvement" sounds like a huge win to me! Congrats on taking these steps and implementing feedback to get your script ready!

You're welcome, Simon Hartwell. Consider/Consider might not put your logline in front of producers, but it's a win. And "needs only some minor areas of improvement" sounds like a huge win, as Kaitlin Moose said.

Simon Hartwell a double-consider is great! It's not a "no"! If you make the changes suggested, it can elevate its status. Great job!

So you have a story entirely set in space...is it gonna be DAY or NIGHT all script long?
btw, congrats on your recommends :)

@Kiril Just reporting the feedback but I'm assuming there is some logic at play. (Light/Dark perhaps) Unfortunately it's Consider not Recommend but the addition required is very light, less then a page of dialogue spread throughout the script which I have already mapped out.

@Maureen I'm not sure a Stage32 review goes as low as No (pass) but thanks for the support.
