Welcome Stage 32 Writers! I am very excited to be teaching this lab once again. This is one of the most fun labs for me to work on, as it takes me into amazing new worlds, from a Middle-Ages Chinese emperor's court to MI6 investigations, from star-crossed lovers battling a narcissistic AI to drug smuggling along the California coastline... every project is a new adventure!

Anna Marton Henry OMG, thank you! I've been derailed the last few weeks by illness -- autoimmune disease flare -- but I'm getting back into it.
Hope you feel better soon, Michelle Butler Hallett.

Hey, all! So, I'm trying to adapt a novel into a historical miniseries. I love historical drama, as does my Mom; we often enjoy the same shows.
Today my Mom gave me a gift: a boxed set of Jennifer Worth's books, on which the series Call the Midwife is based. I know the show inside-out; now I get to study the source material and think some more about adaptation, in a reverse-engineering way. How cool is that?
