I was submitting to a fellowship and one of the requirements is a resume. I don’t have any produced or sold work so I’m not sure what to put on the resume? Anyone have any experience with this? Do I just use my resume for my day job?
Hey, Josh ODonnell. I don't know the answer, but I'm bumping your post to the top of the Lounge so someone with the answer can see it. Hope you get the fellowship!
Hey Josh - I believe when you don’t have any experience on the related field, you could focus on your academic background and anything related to that. Try to emphasise any related course, books, project, etc of yours and anything else that you think would help without being “too much”. A resume shows not just your experience, but also your contact details and, as I mentioned above, your academic background. Hope it helps or anyone else could have a better view of the situation :) Good luck!
