About Carmen

I have been writing since the age of six, and over the course of my life, I have had numerous enriching opportunities to embark on small but fulfilling projects. Growing up in a stimulating environment surrounded by books, notebooks, papers, pencils, and pens has been instrumental in nurturing my creativity. The abundance of resources at my disposal allowed me to bring anything I imagined to life, and even a simple glance out of the window was enough to ignite my inspiration.

During my leisure time, I would engage in writing on various topics that captivated my interest. On a particular occasion, I delved into the subject of the "Incredible Hulk" and sought to uncover the rationale behind his distinctive green hue. Additionally, I explored the phenomenon of "Wonder Woman" effortlessly transforming her outfit through a swift spin.

My musings encompassed an inquisitive nature, and although my written expressions often contained grammatical errors, they were rich in imaginative content and significance.

The arrival of the new typewriter in my home completely transformed my perspective. At the age of six, I couldn't comprehend how this mysterious contraption could generate written words without the use of a pencil or a pen. Intrigued by its capabilities, I began documenting my thoughts about the typewriter until I was summoned to learn how to operate it. Despite feeling a mix of fear and excitement, I eagerly embraced the challenge.

From that moment on, my passion for writing has never waned…!

At the tender age of twelve, I penned my first poem, and by fifteen, I had created a comic book. In my late teens, I ventured into the realm of filmmaking, collaborating with children from public schools in Rio de Janeiro to produce and edit small-scale movies. Throughout my twenties, I delved into storytelling, crafting numerous narratives.

Writing is the essence of my existence; it is ingrained within my very being. It flows naturally and instinctively through me, a permanent part of my identity.

I am currently working on my debut project: a story involving angels, humans and the duality of immortality.
