Maurice Vaughan I can totally hear him say the line, "Yippe Ki-yay".

Maurice Vaughan, this one's just great! There's a new "ice skating rink", opened back here at home, the company's name,... "ICED", that I had all intentions of informing everyone. Of course, just Google "ICED skating TT", to see info. This is just ironic!

Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Hi Maurice! Idk if this has been said yet but Vanilla Ice as the kid in the sixth sense might be really funny

Cool, Ammad Malik. "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" is one of my favorite "M:I" movies. Can't watch for "Mission: Impossible ā Dead Reckoning" Part One and Two.

Haha, Leonardo Ramirez. Me too. I would love to see Vanilla Ice in "Die Hard with a Vengeance" opposite Samuel L. Jackson.

That's a great name for an ice skating rink, Eon C. Rambally.

Cool, David Joshua Gaestel. Vanilla Ice as John Connor. Or was Terminator the lead in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day"? It's probably one of those times when there's both a protagonist and a main character in a movie.

That would be funny, Olivia. It'd probably be a Horror/Comedy.

Thanks Maurice, more on the ice skating rink to come! It's been some time I've followed anything about Vanilla Ice, In my opinion he has that "Christopher Reeve", resemblance and athletic structure going for him, and can portray many lead roles, however "Fast & Furious", is my pick!

I remember a filmmaker said Samuel L Jackson walked onto his set and asked to be in the movie, Leonardo Ramirez. It was an incredible opportunity, but the movie was a small production and there wasn't a role for Samuel L Jackson.

I'm so old The Iceman was Jerry Butler! You are indeed a pleasure here, Maurice.

Maurice Vaughan Iām sure the filmmaker had a good reason but if Samuel L Jackson walked onto my set Iād try and move heaven and earth (including rewrites) to create a new character just for him. Even if it means giving him a purple lightsaber.

Thanks, Linwood. Who's Jerry Butler, and why was he called "The Iceman"?

Me too, Leonardo Ramirez. Even if Samuel L Jackson had a cameo role.

Maurice Vaughan Or if it was animated. I can easily add him into "Agents of C.O.W."

Samuel L Jackson would be GREAT in "Agents of C.O.W." Leonardo Ramirez! I think he should get a full-time role though.

Maurice Vaughan Too easy. And he can pick a side. He can either be Tank or the big baddie, Baron Grimyak. I'd rewrite it with no problem. OR let him ad-lib. Somebody get him on the phone!

Maurice Vaughan He was a soul singer in the ā60ās. He was the original lead singer for The Impressions with Curtis Mayfield. They call you Iceman when youāre that cool. :)

Pitch deck designer! A coveted skill setā¦ how have I missed this?!
Haha I hope I'll be cool enough one day to be called "Iceman," Linwood.
:) GiGi. It was becoming more common for producers, production companies, etc. to ask for pitch decks, and it can get expensive hiring someone to make pitch deck after pitch deck, so I started making them myself.

I didn't know you were a pitch desk designer. If I want any advice, I know where I'd go to. ;)
For Vanilla Ice, cast him in a rock/metal musical. He wasn't shy about his love for this genre of music.

Cool, Marcel. Yeah, if you want any advice, feel free to message me.
I'm not sure if I've heard of any Rock/Metal Musicals. Do you know any?

Hey Maurice! Great to meet you too! Congrats on your horror screenwriting, commercial writing, and pitch deck designing skills. Impressive to start making them yourself. That's why I taught pitch decks at Emerson. And thanks for moderating at the Screenwriting Lounge and Filmmaking/Directing Lounge.
Recasting a movie with Vanilla Ice as the lead? How about this for a wild idea: Vanilla Ice starring in a reboot of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective as a rappin' private investigator with a serious passion for spiky little hedgehogs. Picture it - "Ace Ventura meets Vanilla Ice," and he's solving house infested mysteries and grooving to some ice-cool beats.
Thanks for the fun prompt, Maurice, and for thinking outside the box. Keep those creative ideas coming!

Vanilla Ice in an "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" reboot would be HILARIOUS! I would definitely watch that. I can picture him rapping while he investigates. Haha
You're welcome. I like to post little prompts and icebreakers from time to time.

I like that idea, Elaine. I think "Alien" would be another serious role for Vanilla Ice.
I saw this "Mission: Impossible ā Dead Reckoning Part One" poster today, Ammad Malik.

I think Vanilla Ice as Happy Gilmore would be pretty funny too, Eric. This is one way to think of spec script ideas. Replace the lead in a movie and see where it goes.

Maurice Vaughan, I like your idea, Vanilla Ice in "Scarface", playing a serious role and is basically what I was trying to portray before. I saw those posters mentioned by yourself and Ammad Malik, of course the one you've illustrated, is just as great. Ammad Malik, on the subject of posters, spectacular work you did on that "Superman Poster". When I saw it, momentarily I thought it was actually in the cinemas, great poster artwork also by Kalond, and of course the commentaries was great and also informative! Maurice, again, enjoyed this "Icebreaker" and all comments!
