Today is a great day for my work! 4 Scripts on the Red List right now! "ANOTHER WILL COME", "BLOOD OF ANGELS", "BOX OF GLASS", "TELEPORTATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION" which has fallen to the Top 4% on Coverfly!
I wish I knew what agents actually wanted Michael Elliott and Jed Power, but I’m still seeking agent representation. I’ll keep writing and posting until an agent finally takes notice, but festival wins and pitch sessions don’t seem to do the trick. This morning I have 5 scripts on the Red List…maybe that will help.
It sounds like you have great scripts, Kevin J. Howard. How's it going building relationships/networking? That combined with great scripts should help you get an agent.
The accolades might help, but like Jeff Howard said on Twitter yesterday, "I’ve asked and been specifically told by agents and managers that they aren’t fans of reading about all the contest wins and prefer just to hear about you and your script" (https://twitter.com/jeffreyhoward33/status/1677910942057627650).
Kevin....If other Coverfly members start downloading your script(s), that's the best indicator something's up. That's how my Manager found me. So, make you've given permission to allow that,
The other difference might be, while I have only one script on the Red List, it had been on the Red List top 20 for more than a year, (Action, as high as #3) is in the top 1% and has 30 finalist awards. Actually, who the hell really knows. It's as subjective as any one endeavor can be.
Michael Elliott When you get random requests from just other writers on Coverfly, do you let them download your work? Or just the industry professionals? I do have my work set to discoverable, but typically I only let industry members download my work. In fact, I had an industry member download three of my screenplays two days ago, so maybe I’ll be hearing some good news soon. Congratulations on your script! Top 20 for a year and in the Top 1% is incredible.

After all that, why do you think you're still seeking representation (according to your profile)?

Kevin,....If an industry member downloaded three of them, then that's an auspicious sign. Hopefully, good things are coming your way.
No one seems to be able to answer that they have gotten reppedor Sold/Option from inclusion on Red List. Right?
