Stephen Sonneveld

Well done to all who advanced! To those who didn't, keep writing, it's the best teacher.

The first draft of my monster movie, WMD, was years ago, and a premise of it is that they find ancient genetic "building blocks" in the deep ocean trenches. In the years since (maybe a s a result of global warming affecting habitats), scientists have been discovering a handful of species they thought were extinct. The truth is stranger than science fiction!

John Austin

Been too busy playing Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield lately to check my email, but seems I made the QF with my TV script, Guardian of Ash. Logline: "Pursued across realms by the living plague that laid waste to her world, the last elf must unlock the power of a mysterious orb or Earth will be next to fall."

Part-urban fantasy, part-conspiracy drama, part-crime drama. Magic, alien beings, men in black/black ops, gangsters and hoodlums... zombies, too. Everyone loves zombies, don't they?

Congratulations to everyone else who made the QFs!

Pedro Tamames

Congrats everyone! Honored to be a part of the selection with "Across the Ocean Tracks" (:
