Hello Stage 32 Community!
Here's a special invite to our incredible members of the Stage 32 Writers' Room! On Oct. 26th, Brooklynn Fields and I will be hosting our Pitch Practice Happy Hour (5:30 pm PST/8:30 pm EST), which we do every last Thursday of every month. It's a fun, wonderful way for our attendees to introduce themselves to one another and us, and a great opportunity to network with your fellow community members.
We will have two special guests with us during the first hour of the session. Each guest will have a half hour to introduce themselves to our attendees and field a few questions from the group. The knowledge and experiences our guests share is invaluable, and I urge as many of the Writers' Room members who can attend to do so.
One of our special guests is Amanda Toney! Amanda is the Managing Director here at Stage 32 and also a film and television producer who has sold two TV shows! As a producer, Amanda has worked on the psychological thriller What Lies Ahead (2019) starring Rumer Willis and Emma Dumont, which premiered in theatres in 2019; Dolphin Girl (2019), an entire Stage 32 production in conjunction with the St. Petersburg Film Commission; and Metaphorms, a Hungarian film, which premiered at the Raindance Film Festival. She is producing an unscripted show with 3 Ball Entertainment.
Amanda has spoken all over the world at the Cannes Film Festival (France), American Film Market (US), Hollyshorts Film Festival (US), Raindance Film Festival (UK), Trinidad & Tobago Film Commission (Trinidad), Fest Festival (Portugal), Hamburg Film Festival (Germany) and Harvard (US) on the business of the entertainment industry.

Sounds absolutely "Inviting!" (See what I did there?). Please reserve a bistro table for me. Party of one. Far corner of the establishment. Preference to semi-darkness. Also inform security to keep the dreadful "Influencer" crowd away. Their ilk bore me to tears. That's it for now. You're free to go.

Arrive early Bill to avoid the crowds which will surely be clamoring for prime seating and knocking down the velvet stanchion ropes we'll have set up.

Hi Nicholas! Thank you for the kind thoughts and words! I hope you can make it that night and join us for some fun and education. Hi Craig, during our "happy hour" on the 26th we won't be pitching, but we will be having our guests introduce themselves and answer a short Q&A from our attendees, followed by our attendees introducing themselves. Great networking opportunity and a get to know your community. If you want to pitch, attend our sessions were we take volunteer names every week for the following week to pitch. Your more than welcome too and we'd love for you to join us.
