I had a pitch session in July and my script was requested. How long do we have to wait for a response? Has anyone received a response after his/her script was requested?
I probably hold the records. Libby Meyer requested one of my scripts on August 31, 2022. I just checked and it's still "Under Review". I've rewritten it at least 3x since then so if she ever does read it (not holding my breath) she'll be reading the wrong script.
Don't worry Michael, I know an executive producer part of the Stage 32 pool who requested my screenplay, read it, wanted to set a date for discussing it. After I politely answered all her questions regarding the script / commented on her comments -- I never heard from her again -- let's just say my thoughts/reply should have been for that video call... I mean that's me giving her the benefit of the doubt! I'm a nice person, don't even want to talk about the fact that she told me their production company did not have the money to invest in the script, but still wanted to be in the loop; I guess you never know; if enough money is already invested, then you invest.
After a pitch session, I had a manger on S32 ask for a script three months ago, but haven't heard from him and probably will not. I look at it like dating--If they don't get back to you, they're probably not interested. On the other hand, last month I had Zero Gravity request my screenplay from a cold query, and since they are one of the few managerial/production companies that still seek cold queries, they have a ton of requested scripts to read, as their answer to my query explained, so it might take months for them to read it.

Is the script request just for feedback or a business deal, like they want to develop script? Im confused of the endgame.

Leonardo, I tried that page you suggested for Vikki but it would not come up.

In general if you haven’t heard back within a couple of months it’s worth chasing up.

I had a script requested and never heard back. I just assume, at this point, that they're not interested for whatever reason.
