Script request- what are the chances of getting a meeting?

I recently just got a script request from a pretty nice looking company. But let's say they like my screenplay, what are the chances of me potentially getting a meeting with them?

Jeffrey Knepper

you won't have an answer until you just jump in...copyrights etc of course

James L. Lytle III

That's awesome Zorrawa, make sure your stuff is copywritten to be on the safe side.

I use WGAE Zorrawa Jefferson Jeffrey Knepper to protect my stories and make sure they do not require you to give them money up front is a fraud and runaway. I made that mistake early on. Cheers!

Sometimes they will call if they like your screenplay or your writing. They don’t always want to meet in person unless they are considering hiring you. Nobody knows what the odds are and not all producers deal with screenwriters the same way. Your screenplay is automatically protected under the copyright treaty. It is okay that you registered it with the WGA but in the future, you are better off registering them with the LOC.

Congratulations on the script request, Zorrawa Jefferson! I'm not sure what the chances of getting a meeting are. It's probably different for each person. I hope you get a meeting!
