Introduce Yourself : The Shimmering Trilogy by Robin Witney

The Shimmering Trilogy

At the age of 75 I do not want a career in screenwriting as I find it daunting using the computer programs that help writers. I started writing in 2007 and my genre is Sci-fi Fantasy, I made several assumptions and with a bit of poetic license most have come true. Not sure I am a modern day Nostradamus but it's spooky.

The Shimmering Trilogy would franchise I am sure as most of the protagonists are books in their own right. The books, centre around a main theme that acid rain is killing the only food source of an ancient subterranean civilisation that were to first to evolve on Earth, but took to living underground as the surface was to hostile. Now 4 billion years on they have tremendous mental abilities huge wealth and empower an intelligent nobody with this wealth and give him the mental abilities to end the problem of the acid rain. Technically there are so advanced having sentient droids do everything for them but are unable to find an answer to their diminishing food source. The choices the hero has to make is directly against corporate policy world wide and had many protagonists trying to stop him dead in his track's.

I have made the first book into 3 scripts, It took two scripts to get my 564 page novel into following the theme of my book and then with help condensed both scripts down to 120 page script which is action throughout but keeps to to the theme.

I know it would make a great TV series, what I would like is to collaborate with someone who has had a modicum of success to take on the whole project as part two and three need scripts. I watch a great deal of television and if Netflix "Don't Look Up" was one of there best streamed films my trilogy story is so much more, although the hero is globally active I believe it can all be done in a film studio as the heros method of transportation is amazing.

Anyone out there interested let's talk.
