Imagining the legal fairy came by and granted you the ability to lead the remake for any movie or TV show what would it be?
I would love to be the one who brings back Seaquest, season 1 style back to a focus on the science and absolutely no aliens. Or do a remake of The Stuff, modernized to bring in how influencers would affect the spread and sell of The Stuff.

Hi Sophia, I have a ton of movies I would remake but I would change Titanic. I would have had Rose move her ass over and let Jack get on that door and live. Happy Ending.
TV Shows: I would have changed the show "Baby Daddy" How she end up dating both brothers is confusing.

"Plan Nine From Outer Space." Call it, "Plan Ten From Outer Space."

Just spent way too long thinking about this!
I can accept it for what it is, but, I'd go back to Twin Peaks and give it a tonal shift to be less goofy in places. Lets say, less David Lynch and more David Fincher territory. I love the show, but some of it is just tonally way too jarring for me to be 110% onboard with it

There's an old cult biker film here in the UK called Psychomania. I'd love to do a modern remake of that.

Battleship Potemkin; a silent film. One of the greatest action sequences of all time!

FREDDY VS. JASON, Sophia Peaslee. It was great to see those two Horror icons fight -- they're the Godzilla and King Kong of Horror -- but I'd make the story better.
"Or do a remake of The Stuff, modernized to bring in how influencers would affect the spread and sell of The Stuff." I'd watch that!

This was difficult, but I think I’d choose Halloween (1978). A genuine remake of the original, with Laurie Strode as the final girl once again. I’ve always loved the original, yet I see opportunity to improve the scary factor AND the impactful/beautiful parts of it. I mean, that seen where we see Michael just barely illuminated behind Laurie… there could be so much more like that utilized throughout the film!

This is a strange and left-field choice, but in 2005, Disney Channel made a Disney Channel Original Movie called Twitches, based on a book series called T. Witches by H. B. Gilmour and Randi Reisfeld. As a kid, I was obsessed with the books. I read them so many times, that most of the spines are held together by tape and hope. The adaptation was easily the worst I've ever seen. As a Devel Exec myself, I respect adaptations and the need to make changes that best suit a visual medium. However, this adaptation fundamentally changed everything important about the story and characters, until there was nothing familiar left. They then made a sequel in 2007. If ever given the chance, I would love to remake the IP as a series that stays more loyal to the original source material.

Eragon, it was a great book series that could be the same level as Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter.

Kevin Johnson I completely agree or at minimum hold on at least a bit longer after she said "I'll never let go". PLOP.

Pat Alexander I loved Milo and Otis as a kid. What would you do different or just update the technology?

I'm not sure I want to remake something that was already great but there are many tv shows that you never want to end, I'd like to write a way for them to continue (course you have to get the actors to agree too!).

An old TV show called UFO. I think there's a lot of potential for an updated version to appeal to a modern audience. It'd be a total blast if done right.

A TV show, I would continue with Pure Genius. With movie, I would have the option of Troll ( the first one), Last Dragon, or Godfather

Remake any movie or TV show? Never thought of it... I'll think on it now... Lol

Interesting enough, there were a few TV shows many moons ago I did use to think.. Hmm... I would have given that a different ending or...
I would change that storyline so it's not blaming the girl again, seeing in a scenario... Often these things jump out pretty quick when watching TV or movies...
This is probably going to sound arrogant, but I have enough ideas of my own and I want to work on them.

Arthur Charpentier - original entertaining ideas are awesome, then we don't need to remake anything!

Xochi Blymyer ~ Can you explain a little more of your above comment? I'm struggling to understand the deeper meaning of your wisdom, that somehow has flown over my head! LOL

KEVIN JOHNSON ~ interesting how you mentioned you would have "ROSE move her ass over so Jack could have been on the door" for a happier ending BUT ... in all due respect, we would not have the other deeper meaning of why the beginning was the beginning of the whole SCENE of that movie? Just a thought...
I am into happy endings too. ONE such as "THE STORY OF US" (with Bruce Willis & Michelle Pfeiffer - so powerful and so true for many families!!), Or THE Glass Castle (Woody Harrelson)...
NOTHING like seeing a result that finished in some really deeply moving happy (ending), or at least an understanding of these movies portraying "LIVES of HUMANS" in an ending result of happiness.
Since we don't really DIE, die.... the endings of these kinds shown in movies, bring about another kind of happiness that goes on and on.... (yes, like the song LOL)...
YOU can see how the Old woman (very beginning) treasures the WHOLE experience in every MOMENT as she tells it... (and continues to live in her mind)...
in which is the TRUE HAPPINESS for her.... I have a similar story for my life ending... though I think I might see a severe twist in the one I am proposing for MY CURRENT LIFE circumstances (in real life, not the movie)... We'll see!! HOPE this wasn't too complex of what I am trying to say... LOL
ALL a perspective of course!! (NOT SURE if I explained how I am thinking - very well?!! - my apologies for that if so).

I would do a remake of 'The Avengers' from the 1990s. I love the original '60s show, and the studio just BUTCHERED the film version! The original script wasn't perfect, but at least it told a coherent story compared to the end result.
