An obnoxious, hard-partying, food truck owner struggles to reunite with his uptight son. Their opposing views impede efforts to save a diverse group of food truckers facing eviction.

Lee Sr., owner of "6 Guys Burger Truck", is abruptly woken from a drunken slumber on the floor of his food truck by his straight-laced son. Lee Jr., a recent graduate with a degree in nursing, hopes to spend the summer reconnecting with his dad.

Father and Son find a way to ease a bit of the tension, but their reunion is quickly tested. Mr. Conrad informs the group of food truckers of his plan to sell the land they call home. Lee Sr. turns to alcohol to drown his sorrows. Lee Jr. wonders if his dad is a lost cause.

Lee Sr. reckons his best shot at repairing his familial relationships is by saving the food truck park. He'll need help from his son and the raucous bunch of truckers to do so. As they work through their beefs and other conflicts arise, season 1 has all the ingredients of a recipe for disaster.

I wrote a TV pilot script establishing Kool-Aid Man as a sort of modern day hero, he's cool, magical, but he mostly hangs out and spreads joy with his classic beverage. His natural enemies are the Thirsties that appear to him when people are on the verge of dehydration. Like in Batman, there is also room for a cast of evil villans to be developed. In this story, a death-cult leader is his nemesis, and he must defeat him by neutralizing his growing congregation. Lenora, the girl always in blue, is his love interest. She throws bad parties in hope that he will crash it, but gets drawn into the power structure of the cult, and needs to be rescued, not only from danger, but also her codependency. Like the Simpsons in Springfield, Kool-Aid Man is part of a community of endless wild characters doing their thing. I wrote several drafts, and I think I came up with a funny spoof that entertains on many levels for a TV audience. Fingers crossed.

I co-wrote a tv pilot about three “lady” cops who were recently hired by an alcoholic mayor in a tiny town called Boudica . The show follows them as they navigate the challenges of their professional/personal lives, and get caught up in the absurdities of their small town community.

Mark Deuce truly the wackiest, most delightful combination of beloved genres and stories, I love it! Can't even imagine what it feels like to be bullied by aliens hahaha

@Adam Brandt a food truck as a setting is brilliant, so current and chaotically contained. And these characters sound so developed. Put me in line for the full meal pls!!

It's my personal story! Lore drop. Here's the logline:

TAART follows closeted-queer, 16-year-old, Amish anti-hero, Willa Stoltzfus, on her rite-of-passage Rumspringa. Crashing in a communal trailer in rural Lancaster, she discovers the underground meth trade, feelings for her childhood bestie, and gender identity. BYOBonnet!

To translate, "Taart" is PA Dutch for "pie," because we Amish girlies bring the moistest pies to the function, along with endless innuendos. Good luck, fellow "schnickelfritzes" (artistic rebels) xo

Here's the logline for my dramedy: Good Christian Boy is an uncensored, irreverent dramedy that chronicles the existential crises and coming-of-age challenges of Ezra, an evangelical Christian teenager during the early 2000s.

Congratulations everyone for getting your project submitted!! Here's a bit about mine. Our Lady of Hollywood and Vine-"The Wow Factor" a Comedy Pilot

My single camera comedy was un-immaculately conceived on stage doing stand-up comedy as Sister Mary Mallarkey. Logline : A frustrated Irish feminist nun brings her stand-up comedy act to California to take on Hollywood and the Catholic Church. Can she prod the patriarchy into the twenty-first century AND keep her day job?

While OLHV has its roots in religion, Hollywood AND The Catholic Church, the show really tries to find the funny by diving into questions all mortals find themselves wrestling with. Why do any of us stay in a job, relationship, city or institution that we fantasize leaving if we had the nerve? It’s a familiar hell. Like eating comfort food that's not even comforting anymore but we know what we’re going to get. Why do we want to be a part of something that doesn't approve of us while we don't approve of the institution that doesn't approve of us? Okay, getting too philosophical here. The show's about laughs! It could be the comedy love child of “The Marvelous Mrs Maisel and Father Ted” or the "What If" the “Flying Nun” landed in “Parks and Rec”? Or “The Office” went all “Sister Act”? I've self produced some one offs and teasers for the show and look forward to getting it out of my Writers Duet and streaming soon!
