“The Burial” is a 30-page social issue drama about a 28-year-old drug addict, who after being arrested finds out his Mum has died. He has about two weeks before he must face the magistrate; so, he must find his sister and get her to the funeral. But she has been sleeping rough and he doesn’t know where she is. It’s a story about grief, addiction, poverty, and disfunction… and how sometimes, the rules just don’t apply.
