As Co-Artistic Director for the REBEKAH THEATRE PROJECT in Chicago I am posting our Mission Statement. We are looking for original scripts that would fit this mission.

REBEKAH THEATRE PROJECT MISSION STATEMENT

Our theatre is dedicated to Rebekah Nicole Tinsley Klein, a beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend whose courage, determination, will, love, grace and uplifting human spirit touched all who knew her.

The goal of Rebekah Theatre Project (RTP) is to touch and inspire the humanity in all of us through our artistic work and a strong commitment to excellence in every aspect of our creative pursuits. By actively seeking, challenging and engaging collaborative interaction between artist and audience, our ongoing mission is to bring to the stage new and classic works that will enlighten, inform and expose the human condition with all its frailties and strengths.

A portion (to be determined by the board of directors) of revenues derived from ticket sales and all earned income will be given to a 501(c)3 organization (i.e., The Foundation For Womens Cancer or other appropriate organizations) providing information about cancer and supporting cancer research in the name of RTP.
