About Joni

Just won my first screenplay writing competition with my partner Josh Townshend Zellner. I'm a recognized playwright and I'm a journalist. I'm also co-author of "You Let Some GIRL Beat You?" which placed runner up in the 2020 Pipeline Book Adaptation (from over 1800 published book entries) and Forbes called it, "a stunning portrayal of one of today's legendary women's basketball treasures."

The screenplay that won the Plaza Classic Screenwriting Competition is called, "The Secret Notes of Professor Thomas" and as part of the win, we met with Impossible Dream Entertainment to discuss viability. Impossible Dream Ent. now on board to help with development~

My plays have won various awards and I've been lucky with a few tv things (cable ace nods mostly). So that's it for me, let me know about YOU!!!!
